New destination added to the places I want to travel

After reading this article written by Askmen.com's travel corespondent, Jeremy Berger, I've decided i want to travel to Basque Country. Basque Country is in the northeastern part of Spain, along the Bay of Biscay, and in the southwestern part of France. It looks like a beautiful place that can be traveled with out the use of major travel companies and a place that people-centered travel, which I am more interested in than the actual sights and tourist destinations, would be highly possible.

Summer Wars

I just finished watching Summer Wars produced by the Japanese animation studio Madhouse and directed by Mamoru Hosoda. It was a complexly amazing movie! The story is to complex to try to explain in any real depth, you'll have to watch it your self, but I can assure you this is one of the greatest animated films of all time. The large cast of characters with complex relationships and the theme of technology going wild drive this movie very well. I would strongly encourage everyone to see it. The relationships between the characters is very real and portrayed in a way that the viewer can feel the emotions between them, and the plot is one of the best I have seen.

(500) Days Of Summer and The Picture of Dorian Gray, a day of new favorites

Today, I finally got around to seeing (500) Days Of Summer. It was brilliant! The story was unconventional in this world of cliche romantic comedies and the characters were completely believable. The beauty of Zooey Deschanel was also a plus. I also finished reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, which is now one of my favorite books. My favorite quote from that book would have to be " . . . there is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about." which I think fits in nicely with my philosophy.

Dance in the Vampire Bund canceled :(

Vampire loli show, Dance in the Vampire Bund, has been canceled. Shockingly, it was not canceled for it's questionably legal content material, but rather for lack of staff at production company, Shaft. Fortunately, the release date for Moe-tastic show, K-ON!, has been announced as April 6th. The title of the second season is K-ON!! Two exclamation points for two seasons!!

This is my dog Buddy, if you couldn't tell by the fact that he sleeps tucked into a blanket, he's really spoiled. He opened his eye as i took the picture and the glowing looked really creepy on my view screen.

The Invention of Lying

Finally got around to seeing The Invention of Lying. Great movie, let me tell you. I really love all of Ricky Gervais' work that I've seen so far. I thought this picture of him was funny as hell so I used this one instead of one from the movie.
